From an Idea to
a Real Solution
Founded in 2024, Gasify emerged from a simple but powerful observation: families and businesses across Tanzania were constantly caught off guard when their cooking gas ran out at the worst possible moments.
Our founding team — engineers, technologists, and entrepreneurs — set out to solve this with smart IoT technology that anyone could use and afford. Today, Gasify monitors hundreds of cylinders across the country.
We're just getting started.
Company Founded
Gasify was incorporated in Tanzania. First prototype sensor built and tested on a 13kg cylinder — it worked first try.
Cloud Platform Launched
The Gasify web platform and Django-based API launched, supporting real-time data sync from ESP32 devices to the cloud.
Mobile App & First 100 Devices
Android app launched with full monitoring, alerts, and supplier integration. First 100 devices installed in Dar es Salaam homes and restaurants.
Regional Expansion & AI Features
Expanding to Arusha, Mwanza, and Zanzibar. AI-powered predictive refill forecasting and auto-supply integrations are in active development.
